how can i find out if i am on the latest version of 1Password

I would like to confirm which version of 1Password I am using? Also is it possible to edit the name of my default vault? It does not show an edit button to change the name.

Hi @cutepolack! Welcome to the forum!

To check what version of 1Password you are running, please see this documentation page. You cannot change the name of the default vault (that's the only vault whose name cannot be changed).

I would like to confirm which version of 1Password I am using?

In the Windows Desktop app just click on "Help" and you will see which version is installed.

And if you click on this version you will get to the release notes:
