A suggestion for creating an easy way to use 1password in browser.
I was using 1password edge extension and find it is very troublesome to input the Master password again and again when I am using the browser. I always close the edge when I don't use. I can not make it minimize to the taskbar only for 1password.
I can remember most of the passwords and most of the passwords are simpler than my Master password of 1password. What am I doing? Why not I input the simple password directly instead of clicking the icon - input the very very long Master password - then get a simple website password?
So under the guidance from this forum, I delete the newest extension and install the classical edge extension instead.
I am agree with your idea for security reasons. But user experience is also important for a password manager app.
So I suggest refer the other app like Avast password manager which set a local PIN CODE to unlock the app. One PIN CODE can be only used in the specific PC and will ask for Master password if error 3 times. The Digital Pin Code can replace the master password to unlock the native 1password.
Another, the newest 1password browser extension is an independent app. Why not using Windows Hello to unlock the 1password? I think it is a basic user friendly function for the PC now days.
Hope to get an active response from your side.

Hey @hphuangpu ,
We're definitely working on adding Windows Hello unlock to 1Password in the browser! It does require us to integrate the extension with the 1Password desktop app, which takes a bit longer than expected, but rest assured this feature is on its way :)
In the meantime, consider changing your Master Password to a strong memorable password, that should be easier and quicker to type in: https://1password.com/password-generator/?type=memorable
I hope you'll find this helpful until we release that new feature.

Hi @ag_yaron ,
Thanks for your response. And I am glad to hearing from your side about adding Windows Hello to 1Password in browser.
I also have some ideas about the unlock function.- If I have the Windows app and browser app both in my PC. Is it possible to unlock them both by inputting the Master Password only once? Means unlock the windows app, at the same time, the browser app also unlocked?
- If some PC don't support Windows Hello. Can 1password send to unlock request to the phone, and using the fingerprint to Authorize?

Hey @hphuangpu ,
Yes, that will be possible. We're integrating the desktop app with 1Password in the browser, which is what will allow Windows Hello unlocks (and will unlock both apps simultaneously).
This was suggested before but we do not have any plans on implementing such a feature for now. :)
Thanks for the suggestions and feedback!
