UI issue on Facebook Log In

Spotted here.

When an error appears on the Facebook login identifier field, it overlaps with 1Password's lock icon.

Thanks for reporting this @Chris Messina !

I tested it and saw the graphical glitch, but I don't see how it impacts the user experience. The error icon behind 1Password's icon is not interactive and does not contain any valuable info, and you can still see it if you dismiss 1Password or focus on the next field, so it will probably be very low priority on our TO DO list.

If you have any further information or reasoning for why this interrupts users basic operation of the page, please do let me know!
Thanks again for reporting this and bringing it to our attention :)

You're right — it just seems ... less than ideal, especially considering the popularity (in terms of usage, not necessarily affection) of Facebook. i.e. this isn't some obscure login form that your users are unlikely to encounter.

I figured since you make tweaks for more obscure sites, you might make an adjustment for a more well-known one.

We definitely work 24/7 on improving 1Password's abilities on websites @Chris Messina , but the fix you're showing here is not a graphical one.

When 1Password shows up in places it shouldn't, it can be intrusive, bothersome and sometimes even shows info on the screen that users don't want it to show. Imagine 1Password showing your Gmail credentials when you click inside Google's search field - that's the equivalent of the fix you're showing here :)

You are right that Facebook is way more common, I'll ask the team to consider that. :+1:
