Dealing with limited password length

So there's a site that allows a maximum password length of only 14 characters. Accordingly, 1Password only rates its quality as "Very Good."

Is there anything I can do with the mix of characters to improve the quality of the password, given a less than ideal length? How much do numbers and symbols increase the security? I wonder, because there are 52 letters, if one counts upper and lowercase, but only 10 digits, and many more symbols available, barring any exclusions I don't know about.

Thanks for all advice!

    Hi @wj1pfan!

The best way would be to let 1Password choose this randomly, and include letters, numbers and symbols. What matters is how random the password is, but with a limited number of characters, there is just so much you can do :)
