Can't log into new iPad Pro

I've set up my new iPad Pro from my old iPad Air 2 using the Apple backup/restore process. Everything appears to have copied ok. When I try to log into 1Password on the iPad Pro, it won't accept the master password. That password works on the app on my MacBook Pro and when logging into my.1password.com. I log in to my old iPad Air 2 using a numeric code, I can't remember the last time I entered the full password on that device. My old iPad Air 2 and my MacBook Pro are definitely sharing the same account - I can create a new password in one and it appears in the other. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall 1Password on the new iPad Pro?

Reinstalling is a good troubleshooting step. Make sure you know your Master Password and have your Emergency Kit. to you can authenticate when you reinstall.
