Is it possible to unlock the FireFox (password manager) using touch id?
I just started using the 1Password - Password Manager (not the 1Password extension desktop required), and I have not been able to find a setting to unlock the plugin with touch id.
Is this possible to unlock it using Touch ID?

Sadly no, not currently. Late last year the Touch ID feature was removed for a code refresh. It has not made it back just yet. I hope we will see it soon. I know I am anxious to have it back.
Be sure to keep an eye on our forum. I am sure this will be one of the places you'll first see a posting about the feature.

Can we at least get the old plugin re-published until it resurfaces? Why does it seem 1Password seems to keep losing features?

TouchID feature in browser-extension would be highly appreciated... a simple fingerprint icon in the user/pw-field als overlay (then finger set on touchid, pulldown or just fill in of the credentials) would be nice, but frankly i know... it's just a dream ;)

I hope we see something soon. That said, I am not part of the development team, and I can't speak to how far along the process is. I stayed with the current extension through the refresh. I used it to hammer home my recollection of my Master Password. Also, I was a long-term hold out in moving to 1Password in the browser. I kept using the classic extension till late 2019. I could never go back. I love how it works and makes filling things more manageable, like filling one-time passcodes.
