Using MrC conversion tools in Safari 14?

Hello,

I've tried using the instructions here: https://1password.community/discussion/101693/moving-to-1password-from-another-password-manager to extract my keychain data so that I can convert it and import it into 1Password. However, it's not working. I get a generic "Safari got an error: Connection is invalid." number -609" error.

I am on a new iMac running Big Sur (11.2.1) and Safari (14.0.3)

I noticed that the apple script that's included in the MrC files is called Get_Safari12_Passwords and I'm wondering if I'm having problems because I'm in version 14? Is there an updated version of the script for Safari 14?

Thanks,
Julie

    @upupcreative ,

    Use Get_Safari12_Passwords - it works from Safari 12 and up.

    Be sure to have Safari quit - the script will do that for you - and let the script run through to completion before you use your Mac. Also when the dialog asks, be sure to enter your password to unlock Safari's passwords dialog before you hit the Continue button.

    Watch a screen video of how the process works here.
