Accidentally upgraded to 1Password 7

    So I had the same issue, and thought that I had to re-install the 1Password extension onto Safari. When I did that, I discovered that my whole 1Password app had been upgraded to v. 7, and that I apparently now have to sign up for a membership in order to have 1P function in Safari. I feel ambushed. There was NO warning that the app was going to be upgraded. It appears that there is no classic extension for Safari 14; is that right? What are my options?

    Hi @bus8303! Welcome to the forum!

    1Password 7 is a paid upgrade, so there is no automatic upgrade path to it, the app must be installed manually. If you downloaded and installed 1Password 7 by mistake though, you can uninstall it and reinstall 1Password 6 (or any other version you were using before you upgraded the app), but our recommendation would be to keep using the latest version of 1Password for security reasons (whether it's with a subscription or with a standalone license).
