Remove 1Password6 after upgrading to 1Password 7 on macOS 11
Hi,
I have just upgraded the 1Password app on my macOS 11.1 following the steps provided on the upgrade pages. At the end of the process I ended up having these two files in the Application folder: 1Password 7.app (YEAYY) and... 1Password 6.app.zip (HUH?@#$@!?). I hope this is what should have happened, and would be happy to know what are the further steps I should take in order to uninstall the 1Password 6.app.zip file (and everything related to that old version of course) in a clean way.
Thanks,
.--David

Hi @thedesignologist! Welcome to the forum!
What you see is the correct behavior: during the upgrade, 1Password zips the previous version of the app in case you need to restore it for any reason. If you don't plan on using 1Password 6 anymore, you can now just drag the 1Password 6.zip file to the trash. :+1:
