Remove duplicate items not working in app

I'm using the app and imported items from a different source, but a lot of the items have the same data. The remove duplicate items feature isn't working right, it tells me "there are no duplicate items found".

I'm certain the data is the same for both items. Why is it not seeing them as duplicate?

The feature is very conservative. If your items are not exact matches as in one small thing differs, the tool defers to the human behind the keyboard to make the ultimate decision.

I understand what you're saying, but the data is identical. The item title, username, password and website information is exact between the two items.. only the last modified and created dates/times are different between the two.

What else would the software compare between the two?

I might be wrong, but I seem to remember that even things like dates or saved form details in the items are considered during the comparison. My guess would be that some information in the "saved form details" is different.
