Curious what my backup solutions are for logging into 1Password if my authenticator device is lost. If I don’t have access to a device with access to my account do I have an alternate method to unlock my account?

    Hi @more_cowbell!

Our security team can also send you some verification questions if you lose your 2FA method, in emergency cases :+1: You can also disable 2FA from a 1Password app that is already authenticated, a much quicker method:

If you lose access to your authenticator app

@more_cowbell To cover the case where you lose access to all your 1Password apps and to avoid involving the security team, you can backup your 1Password 2FA yourself. When setting-up your authenticator app, save or print-out the QR code or manual entry long-term secret. Alternatively scan your QR code with more than one device. Or use an authenticator app like Authy which backs-up your 2FA tokens and syncs them across devices.

Thanks. As mentioned my question was centered on not having access to a device so it’s good to know you can remove 2fa if needed.
