Sense of the generation of one-time codes by 1Password
Hello friends of the earth,
I have a question about the sense of a function:
It's about the feature that 1Password can generate and automatically paste the one-time codes for two-factor authentication from different websites.
Does this function make sense at all? Doesn't it completely miss the point of two-factor authentication? If I let 1Password generate the one-time code - the first and second factor is stored in the same place after all.
What do you think about the fact that the second factor is stored in the same place as the first factor? How do you generate your one-time codes for two-factor authentication on your websites?
I look forward to your opinions on this.
Have a nice day and stay healthy.
Thanks for reading.
