Can I invited member to family, that already has existing vault maintain that vault?

Hi,

I'm in a trial of 1P family, my son is independently trying 1P as well. I'm thinking about just inviting him to my family plan but he's already created his account, put passwords in his vault etc. If he's invited and joins my family will he lose anything or will his vault just be there for him within the family?

Hi @pdxtony314!

He won't lose existing data, but he will have to move it from his existing account to the Families one, after joining it. Here are the instructions:

1. Add both accounts to the 1Password app
2. Move the items from the old vault to the new one
