Lost. Have Family Mem. Wife on plan. She got an "on iCloud" vault.
Lost. Have Family Mem. Wife on plan. She got an "on iCloud" vault. That vault does not show in 1P on her iPhone.
Goal:
Spend as little as possible.
Keep it simple.
Each of us has separate private vaults.
Shared vault is optional. We may never use it.
Each has access on desktop, laptop, and iPhone to own complete 1P private vault.
No need to use iCloud at all, afaik. (I do not use it on my 1P.)
Afaict, what we need to do is migrate/copy the entries from the iCloud vault to my wife's 1P vault, remove the iCloud vault, and somehow prevent it being created again. I don't know how it got created. I am assuming that once all her entries are consolidated in her 1P vault they will show on her iPhone in 1P.

The iCloud vault would have been what she used prior to membership, and most likely created for syncing at some point.
To get things going, make sure you have invited her to the family, and she has saved her Master Password and Emergency Kit. It will be separate from yours.
Then get her data into her Private/Personal vault. Add the account to each of her devices and remove the Primary vault (iCloud) on each device.These links should help.
