web site will not fill password from 1password suggestion
I am using 1Password to change my passwords on selected web sites. When I tried to change on Bank of America, the site would not use the "suggested password." 1Password provided the suggestion but when I clicked on it would not fill on the site. I clicked on the icon in browser (using Safari) and clicked the autofill button for the site. The change password has worked on other sites so not sure why it is not for this site.

Hey @Djrogier ,
Bank of America is known to be a very problematic website when it comes to password managers. They do whatever they can to try and prevent password managers from functioning properly, and they succeed to some extent, such as the change password form.
I suggest you try this:
- Get to the "Change password" page on Bank of America's website.
- Click the 1Password icon on the top toolbar of your browser (next to Safari's address bar) to open 1Password, then click on "+Generate Password". That will bring you into the password generator itself.
- Generate a password, then copy it and see if you can paste it into the fields on the website. If you can't, you'll have to manually type it in, then update it in 1Password so that your login item will also contain the new password.
This is indeed the exception and not the rule, as you can probably tell from your experience with other websites :)
