When 1pass is enabled on chrome or edge form autofill does not work

When I have 1password enabled on chrome or edge the autofill feature for forms that i fill on very regularly does not work. When i disable 1password everything works fine. I need to be able to autofill these forms instead of constantly typing in long answers. Is there a solution to this.

  • Hello @badlove,

I highly recommend using 1Password to fill in web form details instead of relying on browsers' built-in password managers since 1Password can do a much better filling job for you. Please go here for more details. That said, if you want to use your browser to fill your sites, you can select the 1Password icon in the browser toolbar > Settings >General > Switch off the "Make 1Password the default password manager" option.

After that, you can open Chrome > copy and paste this text to the browser's address bar: chrome://settings/addresses > Press enter / Return > Turn on Save and Fill address.

I would happily use 1password to fill in web forms but unless it is an address, credit card or password it does not fill in general information boxes that I fill in repeatedly. So I would have to type in the same answer over and over. Not efficient at all. If there was a way to have 1password also do that it would be great. Otherwise your fix worked perfectly. Thanks @Nhat_Nguyen
