u2f key without 1password account
Is it possible to use u2f key without 1password account, i.e. for an app on macOS & iOS with a vault synced through Dropbox or iCloud?

Hi @maxromanovsky! Welcome to the forum!
A 1Password Membership is required to use U2F keys with 1Password, it cannot be used for vaults stored on Dropbox or iCloud.

Its also worth pointing out that with a 1Password account its not used outside of initially logging into your account on a new device.

@rudy does it mean that u2f key would be used just for an initial login to 1p SaaS account on the device, but can't be configured for a regular login instead of/in addition to password/on-device biometric (touch, face id)?
