It's stored in the cloud, until you download a copy for offline usage. In that case it's stored both locally and in the cloud.
Can it be stored on the device only and synced between devices?
Unfortunately not, if a document is stored only on the device, it cannot be synced to another device.
Is it encrypted in the storage location?
Yes, everything stored in 1Password is encrypted :+1:
