Hi. New to this so forgive me if this has already been addressed
When doing a password reset, I seem to have ZERO ability to configure a password of my choice. Length, symbols, etc.
The only options I have are a 'Suggested Password'. How do I turn this off please?

==edit== Oh and if I actually go ahead and select the 'Suggested Password', add it to the library, its not autofilling anyway and doesn't seem to work!!
Am slowly regretting moving from Lastpass now.

    Hey there @fredu123,

Sorry to hear about the trouble you've seen with creating a custom password. To customize a password, please use our built-in password generator from 1Password in your browser. Here are the steps to get to that:

    1. Click on 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.
    2. Click on the "+" option and select Password Generator.
    3. Make sure to next select "Random Password" next to Type.
    4. Select the desired length for your password. Enable "numbers" or "symbols" if your site requires that.
    5. Copy your password or select Autofill to fill it onto the field on your site.

If you're running into issues with the generator, please let me know. If you can pass along the URL for your site, I'll be happy to check on the Suggested Password feature as well.

    Thanks!

@fredu123 I know from personal experience that this is one of the hardest things to get used to when moving from LastPass where the password generator is immediately available. I understand its going to be easier to find in the next release.
Click on the 1Password icon in the browser toolbar and you'll see a large '+' symbol in a circle. Click on this and select Password Generator. If you are using the latest version of 1Password in the browser then you can choose different types of password, modify the recipe for each type of password and choose the default recipe for the Suggested Password. If you're still not happy with the generated password then you can also edit it manually before copying it.
If a new entry isn't filling then check that the URL in the item details matches the relevant login page. If it does then does the item appear in the drop down list when clicking on the 1Password icon in the browser toolbar? Do you see an Autofill button here? Does that work?

Oh I see. Its odd it doesn't give that option in-line. Thanks for the response, I understand now.
    the site is https://secure.accor.com/account/index.en.shtml#/update-password

    Step 1

Step 2 (Click on Suggestions - This is where I expected to be able to configure a password of my choosing)

Step 3 (Its just not there. According to your instructions, I now need to get a custom password from the chrome app. Why not just put this inline?)

@fredu123 I've checked that site as I have an account there myself and when clicking on Use Suggested Password I get a 1Password pop-up asking whether I want to Update Saved Login.
Have you found the password generator? Have you tried manually copying and pasting from the password generator?

Yep, the password generator option at the top works fine:

I just didn't know it was actually there, and expected at least the option to appear inline when selecting a new password.

I know this now, thanks for the help :)
