Update on Watchtower to ignore certain entries

I noticed that the discussion at

has been closed, but it doesn't provide any inside on what happened with the remark:

Using tags for these sorts of things is not ideal, and so we're hoping to build something more robust going forward that can address all of these different aspects.

Did I miss any updates, aka are there more tags we can use or are there better alternatives?

Yes please. As you can see in the linked post, many people like to have some kind of feature to tell Watchtower to ignore certain entries that cannot be changed.

We don't have anything to share about this yet. The best way to keep an eye on this would be to take a look at the release notes during an update to see any additions. We can also try to remember and post an update here when we hear something :+1:
