Is it possible to link an Passport identity entry on 1Password to a file of the passport (e.g: a photo or PDF)

This should work in 1Password for Windows too. Have you tried this method?

To link an item to the selected item, click Edit, then click Link Existing and select the related item.

Are you able to link items this way?

Thanks. I have not downloaded the 1Password programme on windows. I prefer using everything through the website. This is what I mean by 1Password in windows.
I cannot see "Link exisiting" on the website version

You are right, this is currently not possible directly in the browser extension, only in the desktop apps.
