Could not use Browser extension (app desktop requise) with 1Password 7.8

Hi there,

After upgrading from 1Password 7.x to 7.8.
I could not use browser extension.
I have tried to reinstall browser extension.

I have a standalone licence for 7. Application desktop is running.

  • Hi @thomast! As cliche as it may sound, have you tried a restart since the upgrade? Restarting, and then making sure you open 1Password before your browser, should fix this up. If not, let me know. :smile:

    After macOS reboot, it's working.

    It's curious to restart macOS to fix an application problem.. It reminds me the old days

    A restart of the 1Password app and of the browser is usually enough, I believe that is what my colleague was referring to. But certainly a reboot of the entire system can also help :D

  • I did actually mean a full computer restart. :smile: There are other combinations of app restarts that can often help, but a full restart is often the easiest suggestion, and it certainly can't hurt, especially if it has been quite some time since the last restart.
