Using Touch ID to unlock browser extension for autofill on Macbook Pro
I recently had an issue where I had to remove the browser extension from Google Chrome because it wasn't working anymore. Then, when I reinstalled it, it looked very different. Now when I try to use the autofill feature, it asks me to press cmd+shift+X to unlock and then asks for my master password. Before I had to uninstall and reinstall the browser extension, I was able to use the Touch ID on my Mac to unlock the extension. Touch ID does still work for the actual program though. I'd like to be able to use Touch ID for the browser extension if possible, but I didn't see anything in the settings about this. Any ideas?

Hi @the_benlow03!
Can you please download the classic extension and see if that is the one you were using before?
Get the 1Password classic extension
I think when you reinstalled the extension, you installed the new one, which does not support Touch ID yet (although our developers are working on it).

That seems to have fixed it. Thank you!
