Firefox Autofill Issues

Hello,

Firefox seems to continue to save my forms, whether they be searches or login names (but not passwords). I can't determine whether this is a FF problem or a 1Password problem. All the FF documentation I've seen tells me to turn off the autofill settings, which I've done, but it also states that the Logins and Passwords are managed by 1Password. This is using the 1Password Add-on 1.23.1 with Firefox 86.0.1 (64-bit) and a 1Password Cloud subscription.

I've attached some screenshots showing my search for Firefox on the 1Password forums, along with the settings in Firefox. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi @SleepyOwl!

If those options are unchecked in Firefox, the browser should not save new information. However, it won't delete entries that were stored in the past, so make sure you remove old entries that Firefox might have stored there if you don't want to see them anymore.

I had the same issue some time ago, until I clicked on the Saved Addresses... or Saved Logins... buttons in the Firefox settings (you can see them in your screenshot) and removed previously stored entries from there.

I found out what exactly it is. You have to set custom settings in the "History" area of Firefox. Unchecking "Remember search and form history" along with "Clearing history" seems to do it. Screenshot below. Thanks!
