The latest update of 1Password 7 for Mac cannot be completed from the App Store

The latest update of 1Password 7 for Mac (Big Sur), dated 11 March, cannot be completed from the Appstore. Downloading starts and the circle is closed up to approx 95%, then a message pops up 'Unable to Download App, “1Password 7” could not be installed. Please try again later.'.
This has been ongoing for days.
Does anyone recognize this issue?
