Issue: web app auto-scrolls back to selection on click after scrolling with mouse wheel

I select the All items entry, assume one of the entries at the top of the list is seletced, I scroll with the mouse wheel to find another entry, then click on it, the list auto-scrolls back to the currently selected entry, no new selection performed. I have to scroll again (still with the mouse wheel only), and then the second time when I click, it does stay and select the new item. In the Windows desktop app, it all works fine. Browser is Edge Chromium.
