Reset 2FA

Hello Support,

This morning I reinstalled macOS Big Sur and forgot to turn off 2FA for my primary 1Password account. Unfortunately, I wasn't signed into my primary account on any of my other devices (iPad and iPhone) so I have no way of turning this off. I have access to my secret key and master password but without the 2FA code I'm stuck.

To make matter worse, I'm also not signed into my primary email account that was used to subscribe to 1Password but have access to the email accounts for my devices (iPad and iPhone). What are my options here? Would it be possible to turn off 2FA so I can access my accounts? Would proof of ID be required?

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. It appears you've also emailed us with this question and have been in touch with my colleague Connor. To avoid duplicating efforts, I'm going to close this thread, but Connor will be happy to continue working with you via email. Thanks!
