Upgrade to 7.8 does not work

Tried to upgrade to version 7.8 several times. The upgrade stops with an error message saying that I will try again later. Is this a known problem, something that can be solved?

    Hi @arehv!

    Is this the version of 1Password downloaded from the Mac App Store? If so, can you take a look at my comment here and see if that works for you too?

    Thank you, super fast respond :)
    Yes, it's the App Store version.

    Has closed 1Password completely, also from activity monitor.
    Notice that 1Password Extention Helper cannot be closed. Not even with forced termination.

    Has restarted the machine twice and still gets the same error message.

    The message is i Norwegian, translated it is:
    "The 1P update could not be completed. Try again later."

    I have the latest MacBook Pro with the Apple M1 chip.

    Any other suggestions?

    @arehv:

    Thank you for the update! Sometimes this can happen with the Mac App Store version of 1Password, so let's try this method then:

    1. Right click the 1Password icon in the macOS menu bar at the top of the screen and choose Quit 1Password Completely
    2. Drag the 1Password application from Applications folder to the Trash and empty the Trash
    3. Download a fresh copy of the latest version from here https://1password.com/downloads/mac/
    4. Quit Safari
    5. Run the installer downloaded above
    6. Restart your computer
    7. Open and unlock 1Password
    8. Open Safari and verify 1Password works properly

    Let me know how it goes!

    I closed 1Password, moved the old version to the Trash and downloaded the latest version from the App Store.
    Solved the problem.
    The new version is fast.
