Safari issues
I installed 1Password a while ago, but never got around to fully implementing it. I have a little time to do it now, so I re-upped my subscription and started trying. I reinstalled the extension on Safari. I can unlock 1Password in my toolbar. But when I click on the toolbar icon, it continually tells me to Open Extensions Preferences in Safari. Which I do, and I see the 1Password extension is installed. When I need to fill in a password in Safari, I get the little dropdown that asks me to unlock 1Password. But when I click on it, nothing happens.
How do I get this working?
1Password Version: 7.8
Extension Version: 7.8
OS Version: 10.15.6
Sync Type: Not Provided

I went to the app store and downloaded the extension and installed it. I believe I had it installed at some point earlier, but it wasn't there anymore.

There should be no need to download the extension separately as it is included as part of the Mac app now. I'm not quite sure why it was there previously and not currently.
I'd suggest restarting the Mac. If you open your Applications folder, do you see extra copies of 1Password? You may not. I just want to be sure and avoid that.

Hm. Well, when I clicked on the icon in the toolbar, it was telling me to go to my Extensions Preferences and install the extension. I did the "Quit 1Password Completely" option from the toolbar icon, and then restarted the app, and now it seems to be working in Safari.

I'm glad to hear you're going again. The message should have mentioned enabling the extension. If you happen to see it again, please let us know so that we can investigate further. 🙂
