WHAT IS THE CLASSIC BROWSER EXTENSION?
Sorry I don't keep up with 1Password's many changes and improvements. If there is a blog post or a read me, you can just direct me there and not answer. Otherwise, here goes my confusion . . .
Is 1Password X retired?
Is 1Password the replacement for 1Password X?
Is 1Password working in web fields in browsers and in the menubar both?
How can I use TouchID to log into the new iPassword in browser fields?
SHIFT-COMMAND-X conflicts with my keyboard code to launch my screen capture app XRip. I'd like to keep the xRip shortcut. How do I create a new and faster way to unlock 1Password in my browser?
What is the best way to have 1Password in both my browser toolbar and in the system menu bar?
Is 1Password Classic for older machines or operating systems?
What are the system requirement for the current 1Password (Integrated) app on Mac? Do I need Tim Cook's bastard stepchild Big Sir??
I would assume if 1Password X is retired, so too is 1Password X - Beta.
In other words, I can clean up my Mac. I don't need a bunch of versions and extensions of 1Password on my Mac.
I assume I still need the app and the browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox and that is it.
If i am participating in Beta, then it is the BETA app and the BETA extensions that will be I need, correct? Will there ever be a situation where the is a beta extension say for Firefox, but the app and the Chrome extension are not labeled BETA?
1Password Version: 7.8.1. BETA 0
Extension Version: 1.25.0
OS Version: Little Sir 10.15.7 Catalina
Sync Type: 1Password Vault

Hi @FogCityNative!
Please see this post in the forum for a clarification between the two extensions :+1: 1Password X was just renamed, not retired. You can change its keyboard shortcut in the settings of the extension, after clicking on the little cog icon.

Not necessarily, you could run the stable of the extension if you prefer. But I assume most people who are on the beta, are on the beta with everything.

I doubt it, but even if there will be, it won't really matter as there will be no problem with this.
