Unlocking Macs with iPhones 3rd Party App

Has anyone tried to unlock Macs with 3rd Party Apps? I discovered MacID/Unlox recently but have not purchased. I thought I would ask about 1Password integration with 3rd Party Apps.

    I have personally not used this app, but when it comes to 1Password, it can only be unlocked with an Apple Watch at the moment (in addition to the Mac's Touch ID option, of course). It does not support third party apps for this.

    Unlox seems like more trouble than it's worth. And 1Password doesn't support it. I haven't looked at Duo for Mac and 1Password supports Duo.

    I used MacID back in the day, but Apple's watch unlock feature built into the OS is really nice and is able to utilize the Secure Enclave for security.
