Chrome Extension DNF

Hi......
When I booted up Chrome this morning, it told me I needed to update the 1P extension, which I did. No love: No icon in the toolbar, nada. I am running the latest Chrome (yes, I did check). And I restarted. What gives?

1Password Version: 7.8.1
Extension Version: 1.24.1
_OS Version: 10.15.7
Sync Type: iCloud

    OK—after fussing and reading some other posts on the board, I got the 1P Chrome extension to appear, but it appears with a lock on the icon and insists I log in or create an account, even though paid for the app and use iCloud sync. How can I work around this?

    Hi @rcornish!

    Can you please download the classic extension and see if that works for you?

    Get the 1Password classic extension

    The classic extension does not require you to login, so I wonder if you were actually using the other extension before you reinstalled it.

    Thanks ag_ana. After installation and a restart, the classic extension appears to be working.
