Problem accessing Facebook from Safari under "Big Sur" desktop
This morning I encounter a problem when trying to access Facebook via Safari running under MacOS.
On entering URL for Facebook I always get a black window.
Other web pages under Safari are fine.
Facebook in other environments (under Firefox, under iPadOS 14.4.2) works fine.
Indeed as far as I can see everything else works fine, except URL www.facebook.com in Safari.
Tried clearing Safari cache and history => no effect.
Tried restarting Safari under MacOS => no effect.
At the moment I have a "feeling", nothing more, pointing me towards 1Password extension for Safari..
I would like to disable/deactivate this extension, but am unable to; if I try to uninstall extension in Safari I get the response "... To uninstall "1Password", you must remove the "1Password 7" application" ... which I don't much want to do.
Any thoughts ?

No; => same black screen.
Disabling the 1Password extension in Safari => no effect.

As I noted in my original post:
Yes, I can access Facebook using Firefox.
And I can use Safari successfully for everything (so far) except Facebook.Ah - there does seem to be some reported problem with Facebook Right Now:

So every indication is now that this is a specific Facebook problem rather than anything else.
Sorry I bothered y'all :)
