why can't I use a short password at home? It's just me.
Why do I have to type 10 characters every time the 1P screen locks. I get so tired of it.

1Password is security software, so it has some minimum security requirements to follow, including using a Master Password that is at least 10 characters long. If the problem is rather that you don't want to type it that often rather than its length in itself (which seems to be the case from your message), we have some suggestions here to make the experience nicer:

Got to looking at preferences and have set it to stay in unlock mode for couple of hours, and thats the only restriction. Its just me here and i’m not in a public arena. I may make it longer in unlock if necessary.
