Unable to upgrade to family account on Google Play

I signed upon a single account. I now want to upgrade to family account. The website doesn't make this option easy to find what is strange as i want to give them more money! Eventually it takes me through to the third party app I used (google play) to start the subscription on. From that 'manage subscriptions' page it gives me no option to upgrade to family. It only says delete or add another billing option.
I would just start again but my crypto uses this master key and stuff so I don't want to change. Can anybody help me upgrade to family? Thanks in advance. Joe
