1Password was working fine in Edge, MacBook Pro macOS Big Sur 11.3.1.
Had to format and reinstall OS and all software from scratch.

Downloaded latest version of Edge and 1Password extension now says it "Can't verify the identity of your web browser"
restarted browser, rebooted machine.

Browser version is 90.0.818.62.

Weird thing is that I have an iMac, same OS, same browser version and same extension number and all working fine.

Extension is working in Safari.

Any ideas what I can do to get it working? TIA :)

    Hey @AdieB ,

If you've never had Chrome installed on the computer after you formatted it, then there might be a supporting file/folder missing that are required to get things working. You can follow the steps here to remedy the situation: https://support.1password.com/could-not-connect/

Also, you can try relaunching 1Password and Edge to re-establish a connection between them if the error persists:

    1. Right click the little 1Password icon on the top menu bar of your Mac (where the clock is) and select "Quit 1Password Completely".
    2. Quit Edge by right clicking its icon in the Dock and selecting "Quit".
    3. Open and unlock 1Password.
    4. Open Edge and test if it is working properly.

    Thanks for the reply :)

I installed the new extension, but after realising that it didn't support touch ID i swapped back and the classic had started working.
Guess using the new one created any missing folders :)

    Glad to hear it :)
The new extension will support Touch ID soon.
