1P-X hangs on Edge, then prompts for full login + Yubikey

An odd thing happened today - maybe I've missed a memo or two? (or three?)

I have 1P-X running on a Win10 machine, installed on all of Chrome, Edge and FF. I went to use it on Edge this morning and it just....did nothing (circling....). I fully closed Edge and restarted it...same thing, except this time it opened at 1P.ca and wanted a full login....including my Yubikey.

As I've had it installed for years on Chrome and FF, I've never experienced this before.

Is this new/changed behaviour (ie you want a "proper" login to reauthenticate after some period of time) or am I totally missing something else? Just surprised it's only happening on Edge (Chromium version and fully patched everywhere, always).

    Hey @Ziggy_Stahdust ,

1Password will ask you to re-authenticate if something has changed in your account (your email, Master Password or Secret Key), or if some of the files/settings of the extension do not match your account's information, which could happen if you clear the cache or use a cleaning app of some sort.

It sounds like the latter in this instance. No biggie though. If you encounter this issue again in a short period of time, then we should investigate what might get 1Password in Edge to go out of sync with your account's data.

Curious! None of those occurred...but I'll keep a closer eye out now and see if the situation recurs. Appreciate the feedback (and looking forward to trying out the new Linux client!!).

Have fun with 1Password for Linux. If you have any feedback, we'd love to hear it. :chuffed:
