Unable to use right click in browsers

Hi All -

Brand new to 1Password but have it up and running on a Windows 10 machine. I imported many p/w's from LastPass but would like to change the name of some tags (formally folders in LastPass) but am not able to do so by "right clicking" on a tag name.

In both Opera and Edge browsers right clicking anywhere in the 1Password window opens the browser's standard right-click menu (screen shot attached)- nothing is visible that showing any 1Password options. Have I missed something in the settings that modifies the right click function?

Is there some other method of editing the tags? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Dave!

The 1Password browser app is not the best method to edit tags. Install the standalone native Windows app and do it there. Much better, including item multi-select, bulk editing items and renaming tags for more than 1 entry at a time.

    Thanks - I'll give it a try.

Indeed, The desktop app is much more flexible to use and provides more features than the web app. Highly recommended :)

Thanks to both of you! Much, much better that than trying to use 1Password in a browser.

I see no need for ever using the browser interface in the future. The Windows app has many useful features that are missing in the browser interface.

All Windows users should be encouraged to give the app a try.

I did note the 1Password extension had to be added and enabled in Opera (my default browser) for the Windows 1PW app to do it's magic.

One minor gripe - when opening multiple accounts from the app, is there a way to have them open in new tabs in the first browser window rather than each of them opening a new window?

Thanks again for your help, Dave

Perhaps. If you open 1Password >Settings > Browsers and in the last option change the selection (Open logins in) to your desired setting, does that help?

I hadn't even noticed the Settings link on the 1PW dropdown menu. My bad!

Changing the setting there didn't change anything when Opera was my default browser - changed the default to Edge and all accounts opened as tabs in the same window. Also worked ok in Chrome.

No big deal - I'll probably continue to use Opera.

    Thanks again for the help.
