Sharing with a current 1Password user outside of the Family

Is it possible to share a vault with another 1Password user with their own account? Must they create a second "guest" account to access my shared content?

They would need to be a guest of the family or a full member of the family. It sounds like you are thinking of the guest route. Guest members have access to a single vault.

What I am pursuing is how to share a personal password with my work account or vice versa. It appears that I cannot do it without creating a guest account (conceivably TWO guest accounts, one on work and one on home), which would give me three or four 1P accounts. I think that's probably more than I want to deal with.

This might be a worthy feature for future note.

Have you considered simply copying the item from your personal vault to your work vault?
