Crash of Installer on fresh Catalina 10.15.7
Hello, I have been using 1 Password for years and just did an (unofficial) upgrade of my 2011 MacBook Pro to Catalina. Everything works fine, but 1 Password crashes on installation and I do not know why or how to fix it.
Using older stable versions (tried down to 7.5) or the latest betas do not matter. Help! :-)

The report you sent over indicates a code signature problem. This can be from a bad download or sometimes from malware prevention software or antivirus software interfering with downloads or updates. If you have any such apps like that, I would recommend disabling them temporarily before following the steps below.
Your data is maintained outside of the app and will be completely safe. * Please be mindful to follow the steps below, especially the part about NOT using an app cleaner. They have been known to remove user's data, and we DO NOT want that to happen.
- Quit all open web browsers, especially Safari.
- Look for our helper in the menu bar near the WiFi indicator and the clock. Right-click on the helper and select quit 1Password completely.
- Drag 1Password from the Applications folder to the Trash. Do not use an "app cleaner" or "uninstaller" tool to remove the app or additional files. If prompted, enter the password you use to sign in to your Mac.
- Restart the Mac.
- Download the latest version of 1Password from the 1Password website.
- Quit any open web browsers and then install 1Password.
- Open and unlock 1Password before opening your web browser.
