Your first link is the one you want if you have a 1Password.com account. The second link is the extremely old extension that you would only want if you have solely standalone vaults.

Oh now i understand .. i have both.. thanks now it's clear.
There is something i can't understand.
With safari i can use built-in form fill for both my standlalone vault and my 1password.com vault.
With other browsers i can't ... why this happen ? .. I usually use brave .. is there a way to user built-in form fill with my 1password.com account and my standalone valut ? i can't understand why .. in safari i can do both but not with other browsers0 -
@bimbomix1 – My question for you is: why is it that you have vaults within a 1Password account as well as standalone vaults? It sounds like you're already paying for a 1Password subscription, so I'm curious why you feel the need for standalone vaults at all.
Either way, in order to fill with standalone vaults, you'll need the old extension that Rudy mentioned (version 4.75.90). Although I'd highly recommend considering moving all of your vaults to your 1Password account so you can use the extension that's actively receiving updates (version 2.0). You'll have a much more seamless browsing experience with that extension.
If you have any other questions, feel free to send them our way!

I have some vault
1) personal vault on my pc local
2) personal vault on my raid system
3) team account on 1password.com (work) ... I don't want use it for my personal passwordsin safari I can use autofill with 1 .. 2 .. 3...
with brave I can use 3 or 1 ..2 with classical extension.I don't need to subscribe 1password account
I prefer pay for a standalone licence. I'm really good in backup and security, I don't trust web services for my personal password. I like more pay standalone licence instead a subscription.

Hey @bimbomix1 ,
In that case, you'll want to use 1Password Classic as mentioned above: https://support.1password.com/cs/1password-classic-extension/#step-2-install-the-1password-classic-extension
It will allow you to autofill from all three vaults, but you will lose out on some great features such as having 1Password automatically showing up inside fields when you visit websites, which makes autofilling and saving really convenient and fast.
Regarding your security concerns - which we would love to address if you want to get into - our ideology is very simple; we can't lose what we don't have, and what we don't have is your Master Password (and the Secret Key that you generate when signing up for an account). You don't need to trust us with anything because you keep full control over it yourself.
Let us know if you have further questions.

I know .. but passwords it's something personal. Nobody give us/me the certainty this is completely true. I can only trust what is on website and what you are saying... I know 1passsword isn't the devil .. but who knows ? .... I'm a pay user from the first release. Nobody more than me can trust 1password company. I like to keep my password on my total control.
I like to pay for standalone licence .. compared to subscriptions. It's your company decision but i think i will change software if 1password will decide on day to not offer a standalone licence and only 1password.com subscription solution.
Why those some great features aren't for all ? Why i can have autofill working great only on Safari ? ... why on chrome everything works with 1password.com but not with standalone licences ?
Am i limited because i have a standalone licence ? and not 1password.com ? .. is there any technical issue ?
In italy we say .. "matter of principle".
Why this happen .. i don't complain about the software if i can have all features and upgrades for the version i paid!0 -
I can definitely understand where you're coming from @bimbomix1 .
Firstly, you don't need to trust us with anything, because we're not asking you to trust us with anything. We don't ask you to tell us your Master Password or your Secret Key, and if you have some basic encryption knowledge you'll know that if your data is encrypted and we (or anyone else) don't have the key, then your data is protected. That's the beauty of encryption - you don't need to trust anyone if you don't give them access.
There is a technical limitation here that only the membership service can provide these new features. The new extension works as a standalone app of 1Password but it requires a direct connection with a 1Password.com cloud account (membership) to read and write data to/from, which is why these features are only available to membership users.
Our cloud service was specifically built and designed from the ground up to be the best storage, syncing and backup service for your passwords, and it has a lot of benefits and advantages over a locally stored vault that syncs with iCloud or Dropbox. In addition to all of that, there are also, of course, financial reasons for this. Standalone licenses are not sustainable for a company in our size anymore (we've more than tripled our size in the past couple of years or so), and if you want us to keep improving, developing and enhancing our software on a regular basis, we require more resources to do so. As you probably noticed we have been updating 1Password quite often with a lot of new and amazing stuff, and this wouldn't be possible if everyone had a standalone license that is a one time payment every 4-5 years.
Again, I can totally understand your thoughts and feelings about memberships, but if 1Password is a piece of software you really like and use on a daily basis, and would like to enjoy its full offerings and features, I really do hope you'll give the membership version a try and see how wonderful it is, and how it is worth every penny :)
Thanks for the input and feedback here, it is much appreciated!
