Input fields strip all line breaks
I was unable to paste or otherwise insert (relevant!) line breaks when trying to save a software license key. I had to save it in my vault using 1password.com. The client app does copy the contents fine from there after syncing.
1Password Version: 8.1.0-6

Hey @matthewcowie 👋
Thanks for reporting this!
Just to make sure we're on the same page, could you provide an example of what you were having issues pasting/inserting?
Feel free to replace any sensitive info as you'd like, just something we can go off of would be a start.
Likewise, could you tell me how you were saving this item within 1Password? Were you doing so under the "Software License" item category, or something else entirely?

Sure, it's SublimeText license key, which comes in a format like this
----- BEGIN LICENSE ----- Your Name Single User License 111111-1111111-1111111 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 12345 ------ END LICENSE ------
Used the Software License category. This was not an issue with 1Password for Mac circa 2015 when I put my original license key in, or in the current web version, it displayed without line breaks, but upon edit or copy, the formatting was preserved. The current linux client does copy the contents correctly once stored.

Thanks for the clarification!
I'll make sure to get this one filed away with the development team so we can make sure we get this fixed up. 😎

+1 also Sublime Text License that got garbled up so sadly i don't have anything more to add other than on OSX a few years back it used to work just fine.
