Release notes state version 2.0
In the version 7.8.4 macOS release notes, it states "This new browser integration requires 1Password in the browser 2.0 or newer to be installed before you can use it with 1Password for Mac.", but even the beta is only at 1.25.7 in Firefox etc.
Is this a typo or is there a newer version to update to?

The Chrome version seems to have been updated to 2.0, but Firefox hasn't. Regardless, the release notes are out of date: https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/B5X

1Password in the browser 2.0 will be released in all extensions stores this week (already available in Chrome), followed by an official announcement from us and the release of the full changelog.
