Disappearing New Login (Cmd + S)

I've had a problem with New Login (Cmd + S) before and now I'm having another problem. When I click the 1Password icon in Safari, trying to save a New Login, the New Login (Cmd + S) vanishes and I can't find it a lot of times. Using Opt + Cmd + \ and Cmd + S can get the Save Login Dialog Box back but not always. I've tried New Login / Cmd + S many times.

I tried it with this site. Technically it's not a Login?

I may have made over 40 attempts on this site to find that I could see Cmd + S maybe 2 to 3 times. I had the same problem on another site which I won't name.

I solved my problem. New Login (Cmd + S) only works when the cursor is inside Email. I wasn't expecting this. I thought it should work irrespective of the text fields for form filling?

    Hey @wkleem ,

The Save Login option should always be visible by clicking on the 1Password extension icon in Safari, then selecting the grey gear icon in 1Password's window.

However, that function will not always work, depending on the page/form you're in. If 1Password does not recognize the form as a login/change password form, it might not allow you to save a new login.
In addition, if all the fields in the form are empty, trying to save might not trigger the prompt because there's nothing to save.

You can test things here if needed: https://fill.dev/

As for the website you provided as an example, it has multiple forms on the page which are constructed quite poorly, and 1Password is having troubles recognizing a valid structure in it, in addition to the fact that the form does not have a username/password fields to focus on.

We do have plans to improve saving random forms that are not login/registration/change password forms in the future though.
