New version unlock experience is much slower and sometimes stuck

I like the new features but since the latest update, the unlocking in Chrome Win is much slower. It was faster when the unlock screen opened from the Chrome extension. Now it opens a pop-up of the desktop version (if I understand it correctly) and that is slower. I preferred the immediate response of the Chrome extension.
Also, it already happened three times that the unlocking just got stuck and I had to kill 1Password and open it again.

    Hi @mascot!

    I preferred the immediate response of the Chrome extension.

    Do you now have integration with the desktop app enabled in the extension settings?

    To get back to the previous behavior, you can turn off that setting. Is that the behavior you were referring to?
