Using Markdown in Secure Notes

When I apply markdown in a secure note, I notice that the markdown characters appear in the LH panel.
Is this expected behaviour ?

    Hi @Swivel_Eyes 👋👀

    This is actually done intentionally, as the Markdown formatting process tends to slow things down just a bit.

    We want the experience when you're scrolling through your item list to be snappy as humanly (and technically) possible!
