Chrome extension without the desktop app on Win 10

I have a supplemental laptop with Win 10 that I use occasionally. I use Chrome on it. Is it possible to install the 1password Chrome extension only, without installing 1Password for Windows? Is there any downside of doing it?

    Hey @dudley ,
    Yes, you can. Simply install the extension, log into your 1Password.com account when it asks you to and you should be good to go: https://support.1password.com/getting-started-browser/

    The downside is that whenever you close your browser (even if just for a moment), the extension will lock up and you'll have to unlock it with your Master Password again.
