chrome extension and security management

Hi,
I've a question about security related to chrome extension.
A malicious attack to chrome can stole the entire browser session. If I'm in right they stole also all site sessions opened.
I don't know anything about browser extension management.
If I have 1password unlocked, potentially I'm exposed to the stolen risk of all my passwords?
