Good Tuesday, everyone! 🎉
We have a lot of bug fixes this week. The team went all out on a bug bash, and that means that we have a long list of big fixes this week. Here are some highlights!
- We fixed a problem that appeared last week in which users were unable to log into accounts that had security keys associated with them. 🔐
- We also fixed some glitches in which 1Password would not come to the foreground if users tried to open it from the browser.
- For items that have more than one URL, Watchtower will only warn you if the first URL is insecure.
See https://releases.1password.com/linux/beta/8.1.2/#1password-for-linux-8.1.2-10 for a full set.
Installing and Upgrading 🐧
There are so many ways to get 1Password!
- You can download a package for Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux for the https://support.1password.com/install-linux/#get-1password-for-linux directly from our website!
- Or you can https://support.1password.com/betas/#install-a-beta-release-of-1password-for-linux.
- You can find it https://snapcraft.io/1password.
- We distribute on both the https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/1password and https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/1password-beta channels of the Arch User Repository.
- And you can always grab a https://downloads.1password.com/linux/tar/beta/x86_64/1password-latest.tar.gz or https://downloads.1password.com/linux/tar/stable/x86_64/1password-latest.tar.gz tar file if none of the above quite works for you.
That's it for this week! I'll see you all again here next week.
