Issue on Google Drive video player after installing 1Password Firefox extension

Video playback on Google Drive intermittently stops after installing 1Password Firefox extension. I don't know how it can be related, but troubleshooting the problem I realized that if the extension is removed, the problem doesn't happen anymore. After reinstalling 1Password extension, the problem comes back. Apparently video playback stops when buffer falls under 30s when 1Password extension is installed.

  • Hey @aobarbosa. The behaviour you've mentioned sounds quite odd. Can you tell me if disabling integration for 1Password in your browser has any impact on video playback from Google Drive?

    1. Enable 1Password in Firefox.
    2. Right click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choose Settings.
    3. Under General, disable "Integrate with 1Password app".
    4. Test to see if the issue persists.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry but I think I made a mistake. I made more tests and realized the issue happens even without 1Password extension. Sorry and thanks!

Thanks so much for following up. I'm relieved to hear that 1Password was not the culprit! Wishing you luck with getting to the bottom of things.
